The third edition of the International Mining Investment Conference themed ‘Investments and Unique Business Opportunities in Nigeria’s Emerging Mining Sector’ held from Feb. 12th – 14th, 2008 has been the most successful and intellectually stimulating so far. This conference shows the awareness created through the last two conferences and the prospects of this conference to become like that of PDAC and Mining INDABA. 2008’s conference created and atmosphere for the Minister of State of Mines & Steel Development, Alhaji Mohammed Gusau to address some issues recently evolving in the Mining sector of Nigeria. Several honored guests also attended including the Minster of Mines and Steel Development, Alhaji Sarafa Ishola, Nigeria, Australian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Jeff Hart and were involved as partners in this conference.
